Linh slipped on a grocery store floor. The store said it wasn't their fault.

I was buying eggs. That's all. I went around an aisle and my feet went out from under me. I landed on my hip and I knew right away something was wrong.

The store manager was nice that day. A week later, when I asked about my medical bills, he said the floor wasn't wet and there was nothing on the cameras.

My lawyer subpoenaed the footage. There was a 14-minute window between a spill and a 'wet floor' sign being put up. I fell at minute nine.

We settled out of court. It paid for the surgery and then some. I still shop there. The floors are very clean now.
